In 2013 General National Assembly Election, Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 61903 votes, the second runner up was Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 59852 votes. 12 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
