NA-18 National Assembly Swabi-l - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Murtaza Javid Abbasi from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 72586 votes, the second runner up was Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob from Pakistan Muslim League who got 35480 votes. 12 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 347770 voters registered in NA-18, out of which 154603 votes were polled out, 150979 votes were valid and 3843 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 44.26 % for NA-18 constituency of National Assembly.
