NA-57 National Assembly Rawalpindi-l - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 38755 votes, the second runner up was Malik Amin Aslam Khan from Independent who got 38392 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 275468 voters registered in NA-57, out of which 134339 votes were polled out, 127533 votes were valid and 7010 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 48.76 % for NA-57 constituency of National Assembly.
