NA-247 National Assembly Karachi South-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Dr.nadeem Ehsan from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 168007 votes, the second runner up was Saathi Ishaque Advocate from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 13963 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 303455 voters registered in NA-247, out of which 184035 votes were polled out, 182714 votes were valid and 1321 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 60.00 % for NA-247 constituency of National Assembly.
