NA-189 National Assembly Dera Ghazi Khan-l - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Sayed Mumtaz Alam Gillani from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 49678 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Mian Akhtar Ali Lalika from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 37218 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 323939 voters registered in NA-189, out of which 133186 votes were polled out, 129080 votes were valid and 4110 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 41.11 % for NA-189 constituency of National Assembly.
