NA-223 National Assembly Matiari - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Shamshad Sattar Bachani from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 84669 votes, the second runner up was Adeeba Gul Magsi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 44502 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 276836 voters registered in NA-223, out of which 135635 votes were polled out, 130876 votes were valid and 4694 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 48.99 % for NA-223 constituency of National Assembly.
