PP-257 Punjab Assembly Rahimyar Khan-III - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Malik Ahmad Qaswar Karim Langrial from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 23536 votes, the second runner up was Sardar Muhammad Aoun Hameed Dogar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 18894 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 117137 voters registered in PP-257, out of which 61629 votes were polled out, 58685 votes were valid and 2946 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 53.00 % for PP-257 constituency of Punjab.
