PP-23 Punjab Assembly Chakwal-III - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Malik Muhammad Zahoor Anwar from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 45024 votes, the second runner up was Col ( R ) Sultan Surkhru Awan from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 41962 votes. 3 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 202407 voters registered in PP-23, out of which 113584 votes were polled out, 106176 votes were valid and 7468 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 56.12 % for PP-23 constituency of Punjab.
