PP-282 Punjab Assembly Layyah-III - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Sardar Muhammad Tatlah from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 42088 votes, the second runner up was Ch. Pervaiz Elahi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 35608 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 167413 voters registered in PP-282, out of which 84453 votes were polled out, 82577 votes were valid and 1876 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 50.44 % for PP-282 constituency of Punjab.
