NA-147 National Assembly Okara-V - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Khurram Jahangir Wattoo from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 79195 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Zafar Yasin Wattoo from Independent who got 15965 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 322087 voters registered in NA-147, out of which 96809 votes were polled out, 95961 votes were valid and 0 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 30.06 % for NA-147 constituency of National Assembly.
