PP-157 Punjab Assembly Lahore-XIV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Muhammad Tajamal Hussain from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 27318 votes, the second runner up was Faisal Mumtaz from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 19206 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 13916 voters registered in PP-157, out of which 51061 votes were polled out, 51061 votes were valid and 0 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 39.3 % for PP-157 constituency of Punjab.
