PP-198 Punjab Assembly Multan-V - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Malik Muhammad Ammir Dogar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 24908 votes, the second runner up was Mian Shahzad Maqbool Bhutta from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 16379 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 163582 voters registered in PP-198, out of which 52903 votes were polled out, 52008 votes were valid and 897 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 32.34 % for PP-198 constituency of Punjab.
