PP-271 Punjab Assembly Muzaffargarh-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Zulifiqar Ali from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 28107 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Safdar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 17385 votes. 11 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 181933 voters registered in PP-271, out of which 53573 votes were polled out, 52820 votes were valid and 755 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 29.45 % for PP-271 constituency of Punjab.
