PP-126 Punjab Assembly Jhang-III - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Tanveer-ul-islam from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 30092 votes, the second runner up was Syed Akhtar Hussain Rizvi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 19930 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 120539 voters registered in PP-126, out of which 73090 votes were polled out, 70903 votes were valid and 2260 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 61 % for PP-126 constituency of Punjab.
