PP-281 Punjab Assembly Layyah-II - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Mian Muhammad Ali Laleka from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 29078 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Asghar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 27797 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 149416 voters registered in PP-281, out of which 70128 votes were polled out, 68200 votes were valid and 1928 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46.93 % for PP-281 constituency of Punjab.
