PP-101 Punjab Assembly Faisalabad-V - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ch. Khalid Parvaiz Virk from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 26885 votes, the second runner up was Ch. Amanaat Ali Virk from Independent who got 21005 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 166414 voters registered in PP-101, out of which 78026 votes were polled out, 71373 votes were valid and 6653 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46.88 % for PP-101 constituency of Punjab.
