PP-148 Punjab Assembly Lahore-V - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Hafiz Mian Muhammad Naauman from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 40975 votes, the second runner up was Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal from Pakistan Muslim League who got 16734 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 187326 voters registered in PP-148, out of which 67963 votes were polled out, 66841 votes were valid and 1122 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 36.28 % for PP-148 constituency of Punjab.
