NA-249 National Assembly Karachi West-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Dr. Muhammad Farooq Sattar from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 103846 votes, the second runner up was Abdul Habib Memon from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 73324 votes. 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 388099 voters registered in NA-249, out of which 182584 votes were polled out, 180748 votes were valid and 1709 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 47 % for NA-249 constituency of National Assembly.
