Results of NA-1 Peshawar-I Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in National Assembly constituency NA-1 Peshawar-I. Alhaj Ghulam Ahmad Bilour from Awami National Party got 34386 votes and was elected as Member National Assembly (MNA). The first runner up was Gul Badshah from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 28911 votes. Total 11 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 320581 voters registered in NA-1, out of which 73614 votes were polled out, 72521 votes were valid and 1093 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 22.96 % for NA-1 constituency of National Assembly.
