PP-159 Punjab Assembly Lahore-XVI - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Farooq Yousaf Ghurki from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 23177 votes, the second runner up was Chaudhry Muhammad Mansha Sindhu from Pakistan Muslim League who got 22420 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 134984 voters registered in PP-159, out of which 63391 votes were polled out, 62077 votes were valid and 1314 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46.96 % for PP-159 constituency of Punjab.
