PP-136 Punjab Assembly Sheikhupura-II - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Lt. Col(r) Shujait Ahmed Khan from Pakistan Muslim League was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 17795 votes, the second runner up was Abida Raza Saqlain Bukhari from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 15786 votes. 11 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 128336 voters registered in PP-136, out of which 75432 votes were polled out, 71927 votes were valid and 3782 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 58.77 % for PP-136 constituency of Punjab.
