PP-6 Punjab Assembly Rawalpindi-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ch. Sarfraz Afzal from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 40626 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Basharat Raja from Pakistan Muslim League who got 17771 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 185339 voters registered in PP-6, out of which 77790 votes were polled out, 76452 votes were valid and 1338 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 41.97 % for PP-6 constituency of Punjab.
