PP-280 Punjab Assembly Layyah-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Asif Manzoor Mohal from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 27080 votes, the second runner up was Mian Zia Ahkmed Matiana from Pakistan Muslim League who got 19697 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 152816 voters registered in PP-280, out of which 66219 votes were polled out, 64129 votes were valid and 2090 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 43.33 % for PP-280 constituency of Punjab.
