PP-172 Punjab Assembly Lahore-XXIX - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Shah Jehan Ahmad Bhatti from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 24308 votes, the second runner up was Malik Zulqarnain Dogar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 17881 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 122109 voters registered in PP-172, out of which 66347 votes were polled out, 63247 votes were valid and 3103 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 54.33 % for PP-172 constituency of Punjab.
