PP-296 Punjab Assembly Rajanpur-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Punjab Election, Ch. Muhammad Shafique from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 41699 votes, the second runner up was Shaukat Dawood from Pakistan Muslim League who got 26600 votes. 6 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 185110 voters registered in PP-296, out of which 71738 votes were polled out, 70375 votes were valid and 1554 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 38.75 % for PP-296 constituency of Punjab.
