Results of PP-7 Rawalpindi-II Bye-Election held on 26 September 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 26th September 2016 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-7 Rawalpindi-II. Haji Malik Umer Farooq from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 51623 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Ammar Siddique Khan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 46432 votes. Total 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 195714 voters registered in PP-7, out of which 106246 votes were polled out, 104441 votes were valid and 1805 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 54.29 % for PP-7 constituency of National Assembly.
